Cats have always belonged to the in-between. Neither fully domestic nor truly wild, they move comfortably through thresholds and margins. From there comes a natural pull toward dim hours and liminal spaces: twilight, autumn, the moment just before something changes. Symbolic systems recur – folklore, archetypes, tarot. Not as ornament, but as quiet frameworks for meaning. Transformation is acknowledged calmly. Darkness is treated as a condition, not a provocation.
Silent Cat of Mischief is not a collective, a movement, or a call to action. It is made for those long catalogued as misfits, outsiders, or simply misaligned. For those who recognize themselves in reserve rather than display, who leave early, think laterally, and feel more like themselves alone than in a room full of conversation. For those whose thoughts drift into strange corners and return changed.
…and sometimes, the occasional stray mischief is permitted, quietly acknowledged and otherwise unremarked upon.
